Welcome to the New Melbourne Medieval Fayre and Tourney MMFAT Website. We hope it will make it nicer for you to be here and will be easier to navigate around.

MMFAT LogoWe hope this new site for the Melbourne Medieval Fayre and Tourney looks better and is more inviting than the old one. After 6 years of the event running we thought it was time for us to make the site a little more friendly and appealing. We hope we have achieved that.

We are also planning, sometime in the future to offer some stuff to download, but to get those you would need to register as a site member. We may even run competitions as the 2009 MMFAT gets closer, so that those registered as site members can have an opportunity to gain free tickets for themselves.

All this is planned and we will keep you posted in the new news section and on the eNewsletter when these types of things will happen. The first thing we want to do is make sure the site is up and running correctly.

With this being the case, we would ask that you look at as much as possible. We know its time consuming but if you find something that doesn't seem to be working correctly then please use the contact form and let us know. We will attempt to fix it as soon as possible.

The Merchant section which you can see for the purchase of tickets and merchant sites is a little tricky and we are still working on it. We wanted to keep the whole system together without swapping from one to the other as you did with the old site, but if we can't get the new online store to do what we want then we may have to go back to the original system of having the store completely separate. We will have to wait and see and will let you know more as things develop.

Anyway, again, thank you for supporting the event. It doesn't gain much support or sponsorship from the companies and businesses out there and the City of Casey is the only one that gives us any serious funding to help run the event and keep the prices down for you.

Please, tell a friend about the event and keep them informed if they don't come to website. Its the best form of advertising we have is word of mouth.
